To renew materials or get more details
on your library account, dial
(717)-394-1721
then press the following keys:
Press 1 for more information or to renew
items.
Enter your library card's 14-digit
barcode number, then Press #.
Press 1 to renew.
You will hear the total number
of checked out items and the number of items that may be renewed at the
time of your call.
Press 1 to renew.
Then choose from the following
options:
Press 1 to renew all items.
After completion you will hear
a recording to confirm your transaction. If the item is overdue,
appropriate fines will be attached to your record.
Most items will be due two weeks from today's
date. However, if you are renewing a new fiction book, the book will
be due ONE week from today's date.
NOTE: Not all items
can be renewed with the Telephone Renewal System. Some reasons an item
may not be renewed are: another borrower has requested the item;
that type of material is not eligible for renewal (videos & dvds are
not renewable); you already renewed the item twice; or, because of overdue
fines on your record.
When this service is unavailable, items
must be brought to your local library for renewal. Fines be charged for
overdue material.
Press 2 to hear your checked out items
and due dates.
Press 3 for a listing of your holds
ready for pick-up.
Press 4 for fines you owe.
Press * at any time to return to the
main menu.
